Sue Lester is an adventurer at heart with a passion for clearing head trash. She’s been charged by a silver-backed gorilla in the Republic of Congo, canoed the Zambezi River dodging hippos and crocs, and walked across the Australian Simpson Desert with 16 camels, but Sue says her greatest adventure (to date) is the discovery and exploration of our unconscious blueprints, our faces within.
Sue Lester has researched the existence and impact of our unconscious blueprints at work and play, and most importantly, how to change them for good. She has just published her findings as the ultimate D.I.Y. head trash clearing kit for busy, overstretched women who have lost the “I” in their lives, in her book, ‘The Face Within: How to Change Your Unconscious Blueprint”.
“Think of your conscious mind as the captain on your ship of life, below deck is your crew or unconscious mind. Your unconscious blueprint is the map your crew are using to navigate your ship. If your ‘map’ is of a 14 year old, and you are actually 44 years old, then you’ll experience lower self- confidence and more anxiety than necessary. You’ll struggle to sail smoothly through life.”
Marriages have been saved, workplace dynamics shifted dramatically, and self-imposed blocks to success removed for business owners. Sue has a particular interest in working with ‘single wives’, those whose partner’s or own careers have led to fly in fly out (FIFO or DIDO) relationships.
Your own unconscious blueprint will determine your level of emotional intelligence, your ability to lead yourself and others, risk assess, utilize criticism, control your behaviour and emotions, handle responsibility and conflict, and adapt to change. When it’s out of alignment with your chronological age you experience anxiety and self-doubt. When it’s a disempowering image you’ll struggle to speak up and create those changes you want in your life. It’s not uncommon for a 40 year old to have an unconscious blueprint of a 10 year old.
At least 6 out of every 10 women have a blueprint younger than their chronological age, discovered Ms Lester in over 2500 hours of individual client sessions and workshops. Others will have disempowering images of themselves and/or others. For example someone whose unconscious blueprint is fat and frumpy will struggle to shed excess weight and feel attractive. A woman who develops a blueprint of her husband as a difficult teenager will treat him as such, becoming a mother rather than lover.
Your unconscious blueprint of others alters your relationships, management and team player style, your ability to delegate, your trust levels and more. It even determines whether you are paid on time by your clients!
Determined to help as many women get themselves and their families back on even keel, Sue Lester published her findings in the form of a D.I.Y. head trashing clearing book. “I’m passionate about women reclaiming their personal power and putting the “I” back into their lives,” said Sue Lester. “The Face Within was written with the over-stretched and stressed working woman in mind, so it’s easy to read and apply. Many of the techniques and stories can be shared with children too, especially teenagers. It’s a way for women to create more happy memories for themselves and their families.”
During speaking engagements, in a relaxed and very engaging manner Sue shares the inspirational moment she made her exciting discovery and why it is so significant in everyone’s lives. Through fascinating case studies Sue gives powerful before and after examples. When time permits lucky audiences get to experience discovering their own unconscious blueprints of themselves, and others. Many will be shocked at what they discover, recognising the true source of their head trash, then experiencing relief as they learn how to clear it off their path to success.
