As the CEO of Dept Digital and a global entrepreneur, Doyle brings a multifaceted perspective to content creation and digital best practice in the online age.
Back by popular demand for his second year presenting at the Skills Summit, this year Doyle will take a deep-dive into the art of digital storytelling, with a focus on search engine optimisation.
“I’m thrilled to be returning to the Small Business Skills Summit in 2019,” Doyle says.
“This year I’ll be talking about content storytelling and applying it to search engine optimisation strategy.
“The truth is, we all know how to listen to a story, but do we know how to tell one? And how do we tell one online in the digital age when things are a bit different?
“How do we understand what’s really important to people to optimise information for search engines? Or in other words, how do people actually find and listen to the stories we have to tell?”
Doyle’s presentation will cover:
- The art of storytelling in the digital age
- Why stories matter and why it’s critical to tell a good story rather than offering a mediocre piece of content
- What storytelling can do for businesses and their customer
- How to convey stories across the buyer process
- Brand content and structure
- Creating a content roadmap for what business needs to put in place, when
- The nuts and bolts of storytelling for SEO, including formatting, organising, indexing and repurposing
