Throughout 20th – 26th May #Flick us a Flynn encourages Australians to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctors and donate $20 at

The Royal Flying Doctor Service is as Australian as the $20 note, with the charity’s story honoured on the banknote. Donations and financial assistance are a part of its legacy and the not-for-profit aeromedical organisation are calling on city folk to help country folk to “Flick us a Flynn’’ and help keep the Flying Doctors flying.

During 20th – 26th May Flick us a Flynn ambassadors Jane Bunn, Laura Brown, Molly Meldrum, Stefan Dennis, Dani Venn, Catriona Rowntree, Steve Bastoni, Emma Blomfield, Cam Knight, Sam Gash, Mark Wales, Tiffany Cherry, John Hastings, Michala Banas and Gorgi Coghlan will also take to their social platforms to show their support and encourage others to be involved.

Back for a third year, Flick us a Flynn calls on Australian’s to donate $20 while sharing their Flying Doctor story or a message of support. Supporters can have some fun sharing a selfie with a $20 or adding a Facebook Flick us a Flynn frame to their Facebook profile.

Last year marked 90 years since the first medical flight of the Royal Flying Doctor Service from Cloncurry base. From a single plane leased from Qantas, one doctor, and one pilot, the Royal Flying Doctor Service now has a fleet of 71 planes, 115 road service vehicles and more than 1,400 professionals delivering emergency medical and primary health services across the nation.

In Victoria the Flying Doctor provides a rural women’s GP service, mobile eye care, mobile dental care, mental health programs and non-emergency patient transport.
