At a time when technology overrides how we interact with others Kerryn Powell, founder of networking business Your Time Matters, urges us to go back to basics and focus on real life conversations to create success and fulfilment, both in a professional and personal sense. Her new book Two Ears, One Mouth and a Big Heart being launched at Co Ground, Prahran on Tuesday 7th May, reminds us that real-time relationships are critical to amplifying and inspiring others. – as well as ourselves – by concentrating on ‘giving to gain’.
Divided into three sections – Learn, Grow, Achieve – and covering themes such as Clarity, Focus, and Courage, the book invites the reader to learn from the experience of others and then reflect on their own values and viewpoints. Conversation starters are included throughout to encourage the reader to broaden their knowledge and support network and take step towards uncovering then achieving their goals.
Two Ears, One Mouth and a BIG Heart contains stories of ordinary people who have been moved to take action which has resulted in extraordinary impact. It candidly shares the myriad lessons learned as a result of these journeys – sheer grit and determination as well as the power of listening and reaching out. By sharing these messages Kerryn hopes to inspire others to take action and transform their dreams into reality.
