Now is the time for businesses to lay the foundations so they can harness the exciting power of future marketing, according to marketing strategist Rachel Allen. She will share an insight into how to do this when she joins the Small Business Skills Summit on August 10.

As a veteran of the marketing sphere with over 20 years experience under her belt, Rachel notes that the future of the industry is exciting, but business owners need to stay on top of emerging trends.

“Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality will change the way we do business and market ourselves,” she reflects, explaining business owners need to act now to stay ahead of the trend. She will offer all the essential tips and tricks they may require at the Small Business Skills Summit in her session on “Authentic, Savvy, Dynamic plans for business success”.

Rachel is an experienced marketing authority who produces high-quality and results-focused marketing strategies.  She started her own business, Visionary, in 2004 and her mission is to see business owners become the best versions of themselves. Rachel states that this gives her a unique insight into the challenges small business face.

It also instilled an enthusiasm to share her skills among her peers at the upcoming Small Business Skills Summit.

Created by business owners for business owners, the Small Business Summit is devised to offer essential business skills and knowledge to the busy business owner.

The initiative is the brainchild of small business networking and resources group Business Business Business, with founder Linda Reed-Enever explaining it harnesses some of the finest talent in the small business community.

“We are thrilled with the line-up of this event. Not only are the 60 presenters experts in their specific fields, they live and breathe the small business ethos.“

“They understand small business is busy, often all-consuming and incredibly rewarding, so they offer a no-nonsense skills-based approach.”

The summit offers participants the convenience of taking part online, meaning they can tune in for live presentations and Q&As or learn about specific topics at their leisure for three months following the event.

Topics covered range from business finances, to goal setting, branding and mindset.

“If you have a question about where your business is going or are looking to understand what to do next, this is the forum to assist,” Linda explains.

“There is literally something of value for every person in small business.”

The Small Business Skills Summit runs from August 6 to 16, with enrollments open now at
