COVID-19 has been making waves through businesses around the world. Major events around the world are cancelling and this includes The Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show that was scheduled to start next Wednesday 25th March. Green Hip Workwear For Women was planning the biggest year yet to celebrate the 25th Anniversary with the launch of their new maternity range.

Green Hip has quickly adjusted to the new climate and are now seizing the opportunity to offer their customers the exclusive trade deals for their long-lasting workwear designed especially for women. The workwear stores around Australia are also joining in to show their support of women in trades. They too recognise clothing is the visual validation of a persons sense of identity, the outward expression of a womens sense of worth and Green Hip provides and style which complements a woman’s self expression.

The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, is one of the biggest trade shows in Australia, and each year Green Hip attends. The annual event brings buzz and excitement to the industry to engage passionate gardeners and industry professionals. This is where collaborations begin and ideas emerge, customers do a dance of joy when they try on the gear and we revel in the energy that is the Flower & Garden Show.

‘We were incredibly excited to be launching our new maternity range at the show. However, the launch of this new product range has now delayed slightly’ says Liv Thwaites, from Green Hip. ‘This major event is the perfect platform to engage with our customer about any new product launches, to get feedback and make any adjustments we find through the customer engagement’.

Each year at the show, Green Hip customers would make their way to exhibit A-47 to try and purchase long lasting, durable and comfortable workwear. With specifically designed products for a woman’s body and innovative cotton stretch fabric, exhibiting at the event gave women in the workforce an opportunity to try on and feel the Green Hip difference.

However, due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19 (or CoronaVirus), event organisers followed the guide of the Government and cancelled the show. In lieu of the show, the Green Hip team have shown great flexibility and creativity to give their customer base the best solution possible. A storewide online & in-store Sale.

The sale will start be starting at midnight on the 22nd March for 2 weeks only. This will allow Green Hip’s customers who would’ve engaged with the store a chance to make a savings on their favourite workwear designed for women. Up to 30% Storewide sale, ending at midnight on 5th April 2020.

Founder of Green Hip, Liv Thwaites states ‘It is important during this unprecedented pandemic that we support our local businesses and communities. Hence why this exclusive offer is also available in bricks and mortar stores that stock the Green Hip range.’

During the outbreak of COVID-19 Green Hip have been in regular contact with their off-shore manufacturers to ensure their health and wellbeing is of utmost importance. Fortunately, stock levels and production lines have not been severely affected and Green Hip is fully stocked and in full operation. Ready to continue providing women far and wide with work clothing that enhances their sense of identity and express’s their self worth.
